Weebit Nano is a developer of RRAM memory technology, incorporated in Israel in 2015 and publicly traded on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX: WBT).
The company’s Resistive Random Access Memory addresses the growing need for non-volatile memory (NVM) solutions in a range of emerging electronic products. Weebit licenses its technologies to semiconductor companies and foundries, using a typical IP licensing model supporting license fees, royalties, and non-recurring engineering fees (NRE).
The technology is designed for both embedded SoC designs, for various size arrays’ integration, and for discrete memory chips, where memory density and cost per bit is mostly considered.
Weebit is collaborating with Leti to commercialize its SiOx RRAM. In September 2018 Weebit announced that it packaged its RRAM arrays into chips for the first time, and will start sending samples soon.
